Terms of service
Last updated 3 July 2026
1. The engagement
When you engage SecureSlip, you mandate us to collect, classify, reconcile and assemble your medical receipts, invoices, medical scheme certificates and bank statements into a numbered, verified SARS supporting-documents pack for the medical expense tax credit (ITR12 codes 4005 / 4020 / 4034), for the tax year(s) agreed with you.
2. What the service is and isn’t
Every extracted figure is traceable to a source page, and every manual correction is recorded in an immutable audit trail. The service prepares supporting documentation only. It does not constitute tax advice, and we do not submit anything to SARS on your behalf unless separately agreed with you in writing. You review and approve the final pack before any submission, whether by you or your own tax practitioner.
3. Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the documents you provide, and for the final decision to file. We flag what’s missing or unclear, but we can’t certify documents we were never given.
4. Fees
Fees are agreed with you up front, based on document volume and complexity (see pricing), and invoiced once you’ve reviewed and approved the final pack.
5. Limitation
SecureSlip is a document preparation and reconciliation service. It does not warrant any particular outcome from SARS, and nothing on this site or in any pack constitutes a guarantee of a refund, credit, or assessment outcome.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
7. Questions
These are working terms for an operator-assisted service, not a substitute for formal legal advice. Contact hello@secureslip.com with any questions before you engage us.
