Your clients hand you the shoebox. We hand you back checked lines.
SecureSlip is a document pipeline with an accountant at the end of it. Private, local AI reads a year of client paperwork. Deterministic code does the sums and the matching. You review the flagged rows in one screen and release the deliverable under your own name. Nothing is claimed, categorised or sent that a person did not stand behind.
Five steps, most of them not yours
- 01
Open a workspace per client
Each client gets their own workspace, and each tax year in it is set to Medical or Ledger. The stream decides what comes out: a SARS claim pack or a VAT-split expense ledger.
- 02
The paperwork comes in
Your client uploads slips, invoices, certificates and bank statement PDFs through their portal, or photographs them. You can load documents yourself too. The free photo check tells anyone in the browser whether their snaps will read, before anything is uploaded.
- 03
The engine reads and matches
Private, local AI classifies every document and extracts the lines. Ordinary code does the sums, matches amounts to bank debits, and assigns ledger categories from a fixed rule table. Anything uncertain is flagged for eyes, never silently included.
- 04
You review, verify and correct
One keyboard-driven screen holds the queue. Select a field, click the value on the source document, and the correction lands in whole cents. Verified and corrected rows lock, and locked rows survive re-runs.
- 05
You release the deliverable
On a practice workspace the pack or ledger stays locked until a person releases it. Gap cover netting on a medical year is ticked off by a human before anything goes out.
Built so you can defend every line you sign off
Verify and lock
Every row carries its review state as text: Needs a look, Read, Verified (locked), Corrected (locked). A locked row survives re-runs of the engine.
Bank-tied lines
Where a statement debit matches an amount, the row says so and links to it. Where nothing matches, the row says that too. Cash is fine; hidden mismatches are not.
Discover payments
On medical years the engine sweeps the bank statements for medical-looking debits with no matching document, and lists them for the client to answer in four plain verdicts. Payments already covered are shown separately, so the sweep visibly never asks twice.
Gap cover netting
Section 6B netting is a human checklist, not an automation. Each gap payout is matched to its expense line and subtracted before a pack can be released. Anything still claimable from the insurer is flagged to the client first.
Scoped access grants
Hand a colleague read, review or release rights on a single workspace. Grants are time-limited, revocable and audited. Release rights stay separate from review rights.
An audit trail under everything
Every action in a workspace is recorded: who verified, who corrected what field, who released. The trail survives even when a workspace's documents are erased under its retention policy.
The reason it is called SecureSlip
You are handing over clients’ health and banking records. That is the most sensitive paperwork a practice holds, and it is why the pipeline was built local-first before it was built fast.
Processing stays in South Africa
Documents live and are processed in the af-south-1 region and on hardware we control. Open-weight models run on our own machines. No document or extracted field reaches a third-party AI or OCR service.
POPIA, taken literally
Health data is special personal information under POPIA. It is processed under explicit, separate consent, per purpose. Converting a year between streams requires consent for the new purpose before anything is re-read.
Retention you choose
Per workspace: erase 30 days after release, or archive for a set number of years, five by default, matching SARS's own window. The nightly purge erases documents, extracted data and the deliverable itself. Only the consent record and audit log remain.
Practice pricing, in one sentence
Registered practitioners get 35% off every published medical pack fee, and ledger work is priced per practice, so talk to us about your volumes. Fees are flat and agreed up front. We never charge a percentage of a refund. The published fee schedule is on the pricing page.
